What is with all the black headliners in cars these days?

Seats is another story, that is totally understandable, black seats are totally justifiable, but who in heaven
is touching a headliner like ever? That thing never gets dirty in the first place. IT IS AAAAAAAAAAABOVE the heads!

You must not have kids. My headliner in my suv is grey. They have managed to shoot
Chocolate milk on it and god only knows what. I wish it was black.

I got in a coworker's car that had a lollipop permanently fused to the ceiling. We were carpooling to a training and she dared us to pull it off. It was like trying to pull Excalibur out of the stone.

As I type this I have to say I literally cannot remember what colour the ceiling is on ANY of our vehicles.

I am oddly disappointed that this post isn't somehow about Samuel L Jackson or Louis Gossett Jr and their choice to forgo limos.

Unless you have a white dog.

Ha! We have a yellow lab and a chocolate lab so we are effed no matter what we pick.

I just rented a car (so it was almost new) that had a light headliner, and I noticed that it already had marks on it.

Looks pretty fab to me.

Illustrating at random:

It is bit less creepy feeling if the car and dash have some lighter tones or accents but when it is all pitch black
that is like Halloween all year round.

It is not that I don't respect people's choices but it seems like there is nothing left for those who
would like to have nice light car anymore. It is like that decision had been made for everybody.

What is that 4th car?

That does look like the next stop is the graveyard.
Ugh.

I like the seat colors.

I think mine is light colored but I bought it over 15 years ago.

And here I am trying to find a dark headliner. There is nothing worse to me than a vehicle with four or five interior colours. I like a flow.
If your seats are dark there is nothing more visually unappealing than looking half way up to a cream headliner and interior cladding.
