Tweens and Teens
Were you ever in high school? It seems extremely common that things get out of hand and the people whose house it is have no control over the kids who show up. |
+1. It is clear that OP isnt really looking for information, but rather to hold someone (other than her son of course) responsible for what happened. |
FYI - on your website, there is a significant type at the top "tip the law enforcement to be sure there were no fell play". it should be "no foul play" |
+1. And even if they were aware, I've seen no information they, or anyone else, forced Navid to drink. He made a bad choice, and unlike almost all others who have done the same (myself included), he had a tragic result instead of just a bad hangover. |
Are you out of your mind? My house, my rules. |
| I am sorry for your pain. Your family is in my prayers. |
Nobody in the house was drinking. |
| I hope you can find peace and closure. What a horrible thing for any parent to go through. I'm sorry for your loss. |
The diplomat family should be blamed for what? |
| I'm so sorry for your loss OP. |

I think about this boy often, even though I didn’t know him. What a terrible situation. It’s been a part of the conversation I have with my teen, and the parents of her friends.
I’m so sorry that his parents and family had to endure such a tremendous loss. |
What makes you believe that? |
| It is very possible for kids to be drinking at your home without you being aware. It happens all the time. You would be surprised. It is very easy to stand back and say, “Not at my house. My rules.” Until it happens to you. |
| Hosting these parties is what dumb parents do. |
| I’m so sorry, op. Healing prayers for you and your family. |
