Principal said... We know our parents and community are very anxious in light of recent events. The anonymous threat posted on Twitter that is currently under investigation understandably heightens the anxiety. Fairfax City Police and FCPS Safety & Security staff will establish a visible presence at our school tomorrow. We honor and respect all parents’ decisions about whether or not they send their students to school tomorrow. |

If you tell the school it's because of the threat, I do not think they will mark him unexcused because it is a safety concern. |

My kid is staying home today.
I let her decide. She has her favorite class and it's the first time she has missed it all year. I told the truth on the absent line. My child does not feel safe to go to school today. |
