My sister and BIL didn’t vote for Hillary because they saw how she filled her coffers and got rich off the backs of Americans - and left our Kent to die. |
If you're "struggling" on a net income of $5000/month maybe you need to look at your spending habits. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to take a good chunk out of your student loan debt every month. Look at website like Dave Ramsey's or Bogleheads on personal finance and take control of your money. You could even post on the Money board on this website and get some advice.
Your post makes you sound like a victim, when, even as you admit, you're doing better than most. Take advantage of that. If you live a little more frugally for a while OP you'd put yourself in a much better position. |
Who is Kent? |
Guess they must REALLY hate Trump and his cabinet then, huh? |
+ 1 I live really well with a take-home of $4600. I don't get these people (without children) who claim they can't make it on $5k unless they live with a flock of roommates. You can get a decent apartment for $1500, and that leaves $3,500 for everything else. |
Who the heck is Kent and how did Hillary leave him to die? |
I'm thinking it's a weird autocorrect. She probably meant one of the Benghazi victims. |
I doubt OP's veracity. We get treated to one of these moronic lying threads several times a day. Actually, far and away atrump voters did so from fear of immigrants and brown people. |
A record number of 20 somethings are living in their parents basements because they can't find jobs - even after graduating from college. |
Not under 4% yet - the last official report was 4.1%. But unemployment has been on a steady and consistent decline since 2010. There's no inflection point in the data from when Trump took office, it's all just a consistent continued trend from Obama. https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000 Trump has done nothing meaningful to create additional jobs. He did a few things like repeal regulations that kept coal mining companies from dumping toxic mining waste into rivers but that has only produced a few hundred jobs. At the expense of polluted rivers. Wages as a percentage of gross domestic income has been doing up since 2013 after years of steady decline, but Trump and the GOP are now fighting any attempt to raise wages tooth and nail. I'd like to see some evidence to support your notion that they want to raise wages. |
Trump filled his inner circle and cabinet with corrupt, out-of-touch, insanely wealthy people who think you can buy a car or remodel your kitchen for $1000. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/gary-cohn-trump-tax-reform-cost-new-car-home-improvement-a7974731.html |
The average Trump voter was pretty wealthy. They did not need jobs.
This thread smells like reheated propaganda. |
Something Mueller this way comes, eh? |
Trump has been President for nearly a year, has your job situation improved yet? Hillary did have a plan to improve the economy and create good jobs, but you didn't want to hear that because it didn't fit with what you wanted the truth to be. We earn a very healthy six figures and yes we pay a lot in taxes, but they are hardly "killing" us. We still live a very nice lifestyle. |
I get that people believed the hype during the campaign. The Dems did a poor job of messaging generally.
However, Trump and the GOPs in Congress have done very little to help the MC and LC people that bought into the talk during the campaign. In fact, the two major pieces of legislation (healthcare and taxes) and the regulatory changes that have been "championed" by Trump and the GOP will harm those folks like OP. Yet, they double down and defend him. I can understand voting for him based on the promises he made. What I am confused about is now that he has shown his hand, those same people still think they are a priority for him. |
