Sex when kids are in the house

To knowingly allow your kids to hear you having sex is perverted and inappropriate. Bordering on abuse.

Is that what anybody here is talking about? Seriously.

Lock the door, no moaning/headboard banging/mattress squeaking and it should be okay I would hope.

Yes, sex is natural but trust me....
No kid (especially a teen!) wants to hear even whimpering parents doing the deed!

Yes, please try to be quiet. Speaking from experience, those sounds are especially confusing to a teen boy. You're at an age where you get instantly hard at just the thought of sex, let alone actually hearing a live performance from the next room. Your brain is disgusted because of who the sounds are coming from, but your body just thinks "hey! sex!" Can you really enjoy yourselves knowing your son might be in his room going solo at the same time?

I'm sure that your kids are aware that you have sex, unless you are in a hostile relationship. I don't think it will scar them for life if they hear a few noises. Most kids are too interested in whatever they are doing to worry about what's going on in your bedroom, anyway.

They will understand a healthy relationship between mom and dad. I'm one of five kids and we always knew to clear out when dad and mom wanted to take a nap.

Dont make noise. Silent sex is fine and good.

When I was a teen I didn't go to sleep until midnight, and often later.

Sounds could travel through the air conditioning vents from one bedroom to another.

I have teenagers and I agree that waiting until everyone is asleep is crazy. There are doors with locks on rooms for a reason. If a door is closed, it needs to be respected.

With teenagers in the house it is best to do it early in the morning. No WAY they'll wake up for that.
