Op here - Got a BFP! I really tried to let it go to voicemail but by the time the call came in I picked up. It was much later than normal. I generally get the dreaded call around lunch. This one happened much later in the day and so when the nurse called I just could not hold out any longer. I know I have a long road ahead but just nice to get some good news for once.

Great news!!! What practice are you with?? Curious because you said a nurse called you and some have mentioned doc's generally call when it's bad news. Not that I'd know who was on the phone when it rings..

Op here - I am with Shady Grove. The nurse has called me both when it is good and bad.

I am waiting for the call TODAY from Shady Grove, and I think I'll let it go to VM. I am too stressed to even consider picking up the phone and speaking to a human being! I will need a few minutes to close my office door and gather myself before I can muster the courage to retrieve the message.

I was referring to Dominion Fertility in Arlington. Nurses always call and deliver the positive news and give you instructions for pregnancy care.
Dr. always calls if its a negative, so he can personally say sorry and tell you to come in and see him again, make and appnt. and you can determine
what your next step is.
