Steve Bannon on 60 Minutes

I'm only about four minutes in and needed to pause. The tight camera on his face is brutal.

He's obviously a drinker, but I think he might also be insane. He sounds like the kind of person who's gone a long time saying and doing what he wants with no filter and no push back.

It didn't zoom on from below.

Charlie Rose was shown from a longer distance because he was the interviewer, not the interviewee. This is pretty standard stuff. You focus more closely on the person being interviewed than on the person doing the interviewing.

And again, it wasn't showing him "from below."

To the linguists out there: why does Steve Bannon sound like he's from Pittsburgh?
He's from Virginia, but his accent on this interview was very western Pennsylvania / Baltimore like (which, despite being geographically far away are similar accents).
What gives?

He oozed anger from beyond his bloodshoot eyes, lipsticked lips, and unexplainable stack of black shirts. He called himself a street fighter, but he's just a hateful dork. His ideas about how America was built by Americans was some revisionist bullshit. Much of America was built by exploiting non-citizen slave labor. He must know this.
