I wouldn't use yellow in a bath or master either. But I have no problem with gold tones throughout the first floor.

For yellow/gold haters, had anyone recommendeded a non-grey alternative?

This has been our first floor color for nearly 10 years. Is that a reason to keep it or change it?

We've
We've loved Jersey Cream and Compatible Cream (and a greener Netsuke) for a decade. Time to repaint. I'd happily use the same colors but feel I should look around a bit for other recs.

Concord Ivory from Benjamin Moore. Link: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color/HC-12/concord-ivory?color=HC-12

Here is a picture from the internet.

Actually, it looks a little light in that prior picture. Here is another one, also off of the internet.

We have yellow walls throughout, maybe a couple shades lighter than the picture in 12:28. I love it. The previous owners did it when they did the facelift to sell. It's neutral but not boring.

That Concord Ivory is absolutely gorgeous. I love it!

A realtor recently recommended a blue color that she said was the new gray...I really liked it but can't remember the name of it and can't find the thread.

I'm looking for less yellow/sunny than the Concors Ivory pictured above. I'd like more gold or closer to beige. Anyone have a suggestion?

I'm sorry, but that's awful. I love to decorate and am great with pulling colors together. I'd prefer any color to that.

Can you make a color recommendation for those looking for a goldish, not gray color?

Are you looking for something more along these lines?

I like bold, cheerful colors - I think a yellow house that's bright and tropical would be very nice.

We have SW Kilim Beige throughout out house. It is a great neutral. Goes with everything.

I'm one looking for a gold throughout and I really dislike the sunny yellow colors. They actually make me feel a little anxious.

We are in the process of painting over a whole-house yellow that can only be described as oppressively cheerful in an anxiety-inducing way. Like the yellow screamed at us "I AM YOUR YELLOW WALLS!" at every opportunity. What a sense of calm as the paint rollers started covering it. Ahhhhh.

To each their own though!

+1

Look for a non-yellow neutral.
