Yes, the Mexican "Lodges" are definitely something I can't wrap my head around. I can definitely imagine the writers' room for this show: "Hey, their hair is BLACK! Let's make them Mexican you guys! Then we'll have some "ethnics!" And while we're at it, we'll have Veronica sing "Bittersweet Symphony" at church for her confirmation! Because that would DEFINITELY happen at church! And let's have a bunch of mobsters come to her confirmation because that's a thing!"

Ugh. Mark Consuelos is ridiculously hot, though, so I guess it's not like we get nothing.

Yup, that Confirmation scene was beyond ridiculous. This show is going off the rails quickly.

Also, how about the Cheryl Blossom's mom hooking to pay bills. Totally absurd.

This was silly but also incoherent in the narrative. Cheryl burnt the house down, and scared the shit out of her mom, but now her mom doesn't give a shit what Cheryl thinks. What?

Also, did Cheryl's mom sleep with Hal? They just introduced that idea and left it. Because Riverdale.

And "Chec" or whatever his name is, is so ridiculously campy/creepy. Seriously, who would let that guy in their house?

I am only watching the next episode to see what is going on with Alice cleaning up a dead body and a pool of blood. Alice is my favorite character.

He's clearly F.P. and Alice's son, right?

I love this show.

I enjoy watching attractive 20 somethings make out, for one. I like the mood lighting they use in every scene, and love the small town setting.

I could do with less murder and creepiness but just totally hooked on this show. It doesn't hurt that my 42 year old self enjoys that Luke Perry is now the dad and not the high schooler - the 90210 nostalgia factor totally made me watch the first few episodes.

It would have been better if he'd had a daughter though - karma for all the hell he put Jim and Cindy through.

Anyone else sick of all the singing? The first season would have a song maybe 1 out of 2 or 3 eps; this season it is every single episode! All the kids have lovely voices but come on....this isn't glee!

The 2nd season feels like an entirely different show. Last year it was more dark Gossip Girl. This year it’s teenage (later seasons) Scandal.
