bottled water--yes or no?

Anonymous
No. It's an awful waste of money and bad for the environment. I also don't like drinking it because it's been in a plastic bottle for who knows how long. Sometimes I'll buy a Perrier in a glass bottle as a treat, though.

Not interested in drinking water that has been sitting in plastic for god knows how long and god know how hot the bottles get in transit.

For every day use we don't buy bottles (i.e., we use filtered tap). But we will buy bottles for parties or get together or trips sometimes. I'll buy water with electrolytes or carbonated water sometimes too if I'm not drinking enough regular water and need to encourage myself to drink more.

50-50

If we are home, we normally use the refrigerator filter. We do keep some bottles for guests.

When out and about its Fiji all the way.

I'm a rebel. I drink tap water and don't even filter it!

OMG bottled water people drive me f'ing crazy. Waste of money and so bad for the environment. My mother-in-law did this until I bought her a Brita. She's too lazy to even buy the replacement filters. Idiot.

I buy a case of 24 and it sits in my basement and we only use it up within 6 months. It's handy if we are running very behind and don't have time to fill a bottle or if the kid who mows our yard on a hot day asks for one. So we do buy them, but rarely.

yes, we buy bottled water. I'm the only one drinking it because I have recurring kidney stones and I use it to make lemonade which is the only thing aside from water I can drink.

Have a PUR filter on the kitchen faucet, filter on the refrigerator water. It wasn't until I saw the mineral buildup in the filters and my toilet tank did I quit drinking from those. Been years since I've had tap water. Our city water review came a few days ago. I have my doubts about it's filtering magic. It meets government standards but not mine.

The cost, which is less than $20 a month, isn't breaking the bank. My kidneys thank me multiple times a day.

Why do yiut kidneys thank you? I too get KS and always carry around a full stainless steel cup of ice water. With how much i have to drink, throwing out bottle after bottle would be so wasteful. My cup holds 30 ounces and i alway consume 3 cups a day, so 90 ounces. That would be, what, 10 bottles. Awful! Plus demineralized water CONTRIBUTES to stones which is ehy distilled water is never reccomended.

We have a reverse osmosis system. Only have bottles for parties but yes then. Though I try to have a big pitcher of water and iced tea cold so we don't have to use them.

Only in desperate situations. Otherwise we all have water bottles that we bring everywhere

I buy bottled water Avian in bulk and keep it on hand for dinner parties, after runs, and for guests. Especially in the hot summer. I know its a foolish expense but I also have a ridiculous amount of discretionary income so its whatever.

Only for large parties and we keep some for emergencies. On a daily basis, it's reusable bottles for everyone.
