yes, we buy bottled water. I'm the only one drinking it because I have recurring kidney stones and I use it to make lemonade which is the only thing aside from water I can drink. Have a PUR filter on the kitchen faucet, filter on the refrigerator water. It wasn't until I saw the mineral buildup in the filters and my toilet tank did I quit drinking from those. Been years since I've had tap water. Our city water review came a few days ago. I have my doubts about it's filtering magic. It meets government standards but not mine. The cost, which is less than $20 a month, isn't breaking the bank. My kidneys thank me multiple times a day.
Why do yiut kidneys thank you? I too get KS and always carry around a full stainless steel cup of ice water. With how much i have to drink, throwing out bottle after bottle would be so wasteful. My cup holds 30 ounces and i alway consume 3 cups a day, so 90 ounces. That would be, what, 10 bottles. Awful! Plus demineralized water CONTRIBUTES to stones which is ehy distilled water is never reccomended.
