OP again. Not a troll. Just want to honor my DH without DS feeling left out by having a different initial.

I'll definitely bring up James Timothy, or maybe John or Jasper. I'm just attached to the idea of a Jimothy, but if it's as bad as you guys say, we'll just use it as a NN.

No. Please do not do this to your child. You will be sentencing him to spelling, while having to explain, his weird name to everyone he meets. For the rest of his life.

Other kids will tease him by calling him Jimothy Cricket.

When he gets older, only his mother will call him Jimothy. In public, he'll pretend he didn't hear her say it.
