Jesse Williams and wife separate

I think she is also claiming that he doesn't really pull his weight parenting and has missed out on what seem like significant events for his children (I don't have kids so maybe they're not that important?): https://www.google.com/amp/m.eonline.com/amp/news/873678/jesse-williams-wife-aryn-drake-lee-fights-for-sole-custody-of-couple-s-two-children

I just can't seem to find an ounce of sympathy for him.

I need to hear his side of the story before I decide.

And to the poster above you, that's interesting. I mean, don't you know that's part of the package when you are married to a celebrity? Sure, she was with him before he was a celebrity, but she stayed along for the rise to stardom. My initial thought is, don't claim this BS now when you could have backed out long ago if you didn't like his lifestyle. Again though, I want to hear his side of the story before I really decide how I really feel.

Their kids are very young though so it's not like she's saying he's been an absentee father for years. Also it sounds like the behavior she's alleging is recent. I feel bad that as the non-celebrity she doesn't have much of a voice in this situation. He can use the media to spin whatever narrative he wants - ex, that he and Minka are newly dating with no mention of all the blind items of them cheating earlier this year. Also I notice the most unflattering photos of her are posted of the wife in articles about them.

Interesting. It seemed like he was building up to a career in politics or something like that. Anger issues and cheating scandals aren't great for that (present president notwithstanding).

I was more on her side until I read her demands about not introducing the kids to women he's dating until 6 months into the relationship. Maybe it was just the way TMZ worded it, but it comes off as petty.

Maybe it's different for celebs, but my friend tried that and the judge ruled against her. Said she had no say over who or what her ex did with the kids during his time. She didn't want the kids spending time with his new girlfriend until they had been together at least 6 months.

This seems very unreasonable to me. You acknowledge she was with him long before he was a celebrity. Why would she preemptively break up as his star began to rise if he wasn't yet cheating or being absent?

My friends got divorced and they do have that in their agreement. I got the impression it was a rather standard thing.

What’s with all the leased cars?

Also I can’t believe I used to like him. Fake woke with a fake family man image.

I can't imagine what one does with 40-50k/month.

I’ll happily get thrown out if I got that settlement. All that money without actually having to deal with a man baby anymore? Sign me up.

Gives their children the same standard of living they’d have at dad’s.
