| For safety and ease of driving (and modern medical care, if that is an issue), Aruba and Grand Cayman are your best bets. |
|
Aruba. They even have US Customs on the Island of Aruba. In other words, you clear US Customs in Aruba and then fly to the US. It is very safe!
Rent a car and use the WAZE app! |

| Barbados ! |
| So much nad advice. St. Martin is dreadful and stay away from other touristy islands like Aruba, grand cayman, etc. Anguilla and St. Barths are where you want to go. Happy to provide detailed recs. |
You cannot rent cars in Bermuda so not sure how you were driving around. Mopeds only for tourists. |
Anguilla is gorgeous (honeymooned there) but it's teeny tiny and there really isn't much to explore. We saw the entire island by rental car in 1 day. |
I thought tourists cannot rent cars in Bermuda. I heard they can only rent scooters, and that the scooter driving is dangerous. But I did hear the public transportation is easy and very affordable there. |
