Wootton cluster has nice yet reasonably priced houses. Try Fallsmead. Rockshire. Etc

Rockville has its own police dept. so they can probably beanywhere in city within a couple minutes. Stay on West side where crime is low and you shoud be ok.

+1 Murder of those two people in the "expensive" part of Rockville last year (I think it was). It was committed by a neighbor. And I live not that far from there.

Remember that case in the expensive DC area -- the family that was murdered, house burned. Bad sh1t happens everywhere.

? Most of the area that feeds into RM is low crime, and homes are not cheap. lol.. RM is "less than savory". FARMS rate too high for you?

Do you realize the 18 year old rapist lived right on Bel Pre? He was walking distance from my house.

If this was a drug crime, that's one thing. But a rapist in walking distance? Makes me feel a little nervous about letting my daughter roam the neighborhood as freely as before. YMMV.

Not like he was a registered sex offender that would have come up in a search or anything.

Also agree that if you search for crime reports near Rockville Metro, you will see a good number of incidents.

Liberal here and agree with your point too, I still think Rockville is trashy, sprawling and too far from the city to matter but would agree it is better than many alternatives.
