Absolutely. But I think he should work to have her prosecuted under 18 USC 793 first and make her defense so expensive that it bankrupts her.

If the left wants to wind up the tyrannical state, I think the right should play right along. The WH should probably task the appropriate government entity to tap every means of communication of the top circle of democrats in congress and their outside fund raising organizations for good measure.

I'm a fan of this new game. The less rules (by way of broken rules), the better.

Yes. I think the hypothetical that you're introducing is slightly different since we can assume that trump will be running in 2020. In that case, I think it's better to have an independent commission do the investigation. Not sure if there are rules on who gets to create an independent commission or how that would work.
