This was in another article: A police source told us, “Bethenny came in [to the precinct] with her lawyer and a few friends. She was making more out of this than it was, that was the overall impression. She’s been involved in a terrible divorce with this guy. And it seemed to us that she was filing the report because she wanted to take revenge on him, get back at him for something he did connected to the divorce. This is common among celebrity types — even C-listers like her — when they’re involved in a bad divorce. We get this a lot. It did not appear to us like Hoppy was going to attack her in any way. He seems like a pretty cool character. But she filed the report and because of that we had cause to arrest him.”

Seems like B is the unhinged one.

When in doubt, you should believe the one who said she was harassed, because if you don't, guess what? They end up dead. Domestic violence 101.

Hoppy is a bitter, bitter man. He resents the heck out of her for her success. I mean the guy was just a typical NY guy making a regular salary when they met. Then she hit it big and he wanted a piece of it. He didn't end up getting as much as he wanted. He also didn't get the apartment.

He is endlessly angry.

I'm sure on some level he's also mad that she's in a relationship again. The guy is a loser.

I think there is very little left to her brand. I dont think she ever got a good team in place, I think she's very hard to work with, I think she leads an unpredictable life, and I dont think she has any friends besides people that work for her. It will all be over soon.

+1 I don't like not believing the woman, but in this case feel pretty sure there's another side to the story and that they're both vicious to each other. What if she is alienating their daughter, threatening to take her away from him permanently etc. etc.? I would like to know more about this from his side. Maybe he is a Jeckyll/Hyde but for sure she is a completely self-centered mean drama queen.

It is notoriously EASY for women to obtain restraining orders simply by making allegations (no evidence typically required to issue the initial order).
