Part of her birthday present? Ok. But a "just because" gift? No. Being an aunt is expensive enough, I don't need to subsidize trips for my nieces/nephews or siblings. Besides - I'd rather show my care and love in spending time with them, not "gifts." |

So weird. I'd pay 1/2 and wouldn't even think about it. Of course the niece isn't splitting the hotel costs! Why would you split it 3 ways? That's ridiculous.
You split a room with your sister. If you think the setup wasn't fair, next time get your own room. |
