Nobody, especially Obama, cared until they could conflate it with Trump's win. By politicizing it, he undermines its seriousness with many Americans. He now appears disingenuous on the topic and that's a shame.

I work in Cybersecurity. The Obama Administration has done quite a lot for Cybersecurity so perhaps you should learn more before repeating right wing propaganda bullsh*t.

OK. Congratulations on excellent work in the cybersecurity field. No one feels vulnerable, thanks to Obama and his team. Clearly, all the hooplah about the election is foolish.

Oh, please do share your view of what Obama has done for cybersecurity, and offer your take on why Russia's hacking hasn't been talked about as an issue prior to the last few months until it became a concern as related to the election?

Upon entering office President Obama ordered the Cybersecurity Policy Review. He created the US Cyber Command in 2010 to name just two things off the top of my head.

Then it's a shame that HRC as Secretary of State and the Democratic party weren't advised appropriately.

Then what went wrong? And please kindly respond to the bolded, if you would.

It happened. It had to be investigated then documented. All of this was classified. It is an involved process to get things unclassified. There has been a lot of talk about Russia and China hacks for years. There were rumblings about Russian involvement but it took a while for the story to get out.

Look it doesn't matter what I write, you will believe what sh*t Trump says about it being political. But it wasn't.

What? This makes no sense. You clearly have no clue how government is run or anything about Cybersecurity. I can't hold a conversation with someone without a basic understanding of these things.

umm, this doesn't actually count as doing anything, any more than "having a meeting" counts as landing a client. not saying cybersecurity (which could obviously be better) wouldn't have been even worse without obama but you surely understand that "ordering a review" and "creating a cyber command" doesn't mean anything of value has been accomplished.

So you expect the President to do pentesting and ethical hacking of all government computer systems? Also review the vulnerability scans?! WTH do you think a Oesident does exactly in his day to day job?!

Ask Apple.

My iPhone autocorrects to that name sorry. I didn't catch that glitch.

Just say the Third Lady. It is easier.

And you're wondering why she might not feel comfortable in DC?

NP, but I would think you'd know that when people say "Obama" they mean his administration, under his leadership, and not the man, singlehandedly.

Want to add: what exactly do you think an entire military command is?!?!? With that one "meeting", he centralized operations in the cyber domain, and created a single point for managing the defense of our military's networks. This (as seen from recent events), is a new type of warfare, requiring the dedicated attention of professionals. Setting up these structures is very difficult work and it is easily trivialized by people that know nothing about how large groups of people get organized or how sustainable infrastructure is managed

I know, right? It's spelled wrong more than it's spelled right. Is it supposed to signal, "I don't care enough about her to type her name correctly?"

Yes.

Seriously, you still don't understand how the Russians got her husband elected?
