I've had this issue on my laptop for several days. Fine on my phone.

Are you using Safari on your laptop? I've just turned off a second ad network. Let's see if it goes away.

Has anyone experienced this issue since my post at 8:30 this morning?

I think this is a different problem. I have a way to test with Edge now, so I'll try that and see what happens.

Yep, I was doing a test. Results of that are clear. The crashes should go away now.

Not sure if it's related, but using Chrome on my iPad and getting repeated pings to let DCUM use my location. Whether I accept or reject, it pops again on subsequent page loads.

I've never heard of this happening before. We don't have anything here that requests your location. Though, I assume some advertisers might want that in order to provide a location-relevant ad.
