I see in the logs that users who report this problem have a lot of request for non-existant files. I had identified one file that seemed to show up in every case and that file is associated with a tracking system used for applications. However, there was some evidence that it is also used by Chrome. However, in your case -- where you don't have Chrome -- that file was not requested. So, I still think that file is a sign that Chrome is involved and may be a symptom of the problem, but may have been misleading about the cause. In your requests, I see another file that seems to show up in the other cases. So, I'll focus on that one now.

Do you have Chrome installed?

No Chrome for me, either.

It's really frustrating. I will frequently be in the middle of typing a reply and it will reload, deleting my post.

Please report this if it happens again. I haven't been able to reproduce it, but I traced another problem to one of our advertisers and turned off their ads. Hopefully that solved this problem as well, but I won't know unless one of you reports experiencing the problem again.

Happened twice in the last 10 minutes. Iphone 6. Non-updated OS (I know I know). Chrome is installed. Using safari.

Thanks Jeff. Not having the problem anymore.

Just use your computer, that is what I would do if the same error kept happening over and over again.

Also, to the people not updating their OS, why are you avoiding it?

Which problem returned? The crashes or the black lines with bad links?

Okay, I had made one change yesterday that I just reversed. Please let me know if you experience further crashes.
