I cashed out 20 hours of vacation, so I'll get ~$600 (after taxes etc).

My company does end of year raises, or bonus, or sometimes a little of both. I'd rather get the raise than the bonus, as it sets my salary base a little higher. Sometimes I get an end of year bonus of ~1K, never more, and the most raise I've gotten was 3%.

Won't get a bonus this year and even if I did it wouldn't pay out until next March. But due to a little stupid accounting on my part I maxed my 401k too early so my next two checks will have an extra $500 or so in take home. It's a Christmas Miracle!

DH got a $15,000 holiday bonus. This is different than year end bonus, which we expect to be in the six figures.

But our firm shuts down from the 23rd-2nd. And everyone takes the time off (emails are rare). It's a great bonus.

but our office is closed for the week of Christmas, and I get 6 weeks of vacation a year, so honestly, those things are worth more than the money, to be.

husband is a fed - he got the choice of a step increase of a one time bonus for good work he did this year.
