No denying Pruitt is going to help change the climate.

Actually not. The coal in the Dakotas put West Virginia coal miners out of business.

Everyone who breathes air or drinks water must put the Encironmental Defense Fund on their Christmas list.

What a horrifying, but not surprising choice for EPA. I guess Trump plans to make good on his promise to dismantle the EPA.

A tragedy for humanity.

Definitely should change the name to "Environmental Exploitation Administration"

The women, minorities and millennials who didn't show up to vote for Hillary are going to punished big time. Steve Bannon, Flynn, Kelly(DHS chief) and Sessions are going to go after muslims(muslim registry, waterboarding), minorities and blacks in multitude of ways(stop and Search - cops can kill unarmed blacks at will and Sessions will side with Cops, harsher punishment for marijuana and other minor drug offenses, 3-strike laws, halting of criminal justice reform etc ), Hispanics(Harsher border control, deportation, drug laws targeting hispanics) and women(no equal pay, abortion limits, etc). Repeal of obamacare will affect every one from every race, age and income groups.

The choice of Pruit for EPA will kill any climate rulings Obama sponsored and millennials are going to take the brunt of climate issues after OLD white Trump voters take refuge in their tombs.

No matter who is the choice for SoS Trump is bound to screw up foreign policy and he is gonna mess up some surprise foreign policy issue.

Steve Manuchin is all set for tax cuts for the wealthy that will increase the debt. It is almost guaranteed that the manufacturing jobs are not coming back. His piecemeal deals won't addup to any significant measure.

Natural gas in North Dakota, not coal.

But hey, emails.

Yep. This is SO much better than that.

It's unbelievable really. Just when we think things can't get worse, an appointment like this shows up. Why did they meet with Al Gore on Climate change? What was the purpose of that?

Just to show who the boss is. It is all just a massive ego trip to get all his sworn enemies to show up in his "humble, tasteless, gold plated abode" and kiss his ass. Romney is given the worst and humiliating treatment because he was the harshest critic and did everything in his power to defeat Trump.

I know and in a sense, this is a good thing. Many felt they could safely turn up their nose at Hillary. Well, good for you, now these are the consequences.
I think it's not as much punishment but a necessary wake-up call.

I know it sucks right now but the Right had to get their turn. It was going to happen sooner (now) or later (4 years from now) exactly because, given that those manufacturing jobs are not coming back, the idea that EPA/Liberals/Whatever are the reason those jobs are not coming back was not going to go away. They need to have a turn at driving the car; I hope they simply go down the wrong road for a while but they don't crash it.

Anonymous
Oh, they are going to crash is, and then absue the Constitution and then we will all know who is really in charge.

Freaking scary as all hell.

Don't worry, they'll still be bound by the cap and trade law that Obama got through as a senator, and those climate treaties the Senate approved while he was President...oh, wait...

That's not even true. Those disappeared mostly because of the relative cheapness of natural gas and advances in automation.

Chinese coal.

Good! Let those idiots feel some pain. The rest of us know what it's like to have no rights. We remember. The millenials will learn the hard way that their protest votes were nails in their own coffins.

Perhaps some moderation is in order.

No they won't. With modern mining equipment they need a lot less workers. Even when coal output soared in WV under G.W. Bush the jobs didn't come back.

This is just another false promise to workers. It's really just about lining the pockets of coal barons. And Pruitt is their lapdog.
