Yes, I'm sure from your perch in Bethesda or McLean, things look very "stable" to you.

Truly, some of you are unbelievable.

So how does it get better by electing the FAILED INSIDERS and provocateurs like Newt or Rudy to run top posts? The rest are Steve bannon, Christie, a Goldman Sachs guy, Mnuchin, as Treasury secretary. It will only get worse because TRUMP doesn't have a mandate having lost eh election by close to 2 million votes after the final count.

The Trump voter is gonna be hit hard by a recession and terrible policies and scandals that are gonna chase trump. You guys think a man who can't hold himself together can hold the party, government, country and the world together?

I'm pulling for Scott Baio, Omarosa or Palin.

When did Trump change his thinking about LOSERS?
Anonymous
He is potentially filling his cabinet with losers both inside and outside the beltway. I fear for our country's future. Trump voters are getting what they asked for and unfortunately so are the rest of us.

He is going to pick all these scums because he can't bear to talk and sit with an actually intelligent person, the guy is a complete moron and an insecure one. This is what his voters envisioned, total trash in the WH. RIP America.

So this!!! His voters are the same -- people who use big words make them feel bad about themselves.

Yes he is a political outsider who will change up everything by bringing in failed 3rd rate insiders. Nice.

So let me get this straight: now y'all are repudiating the order and stability that America brought to the world post-WWII? The very thing that has made America the most prosperous and powerful nation on earth? That may be the single most unpatriotic thing that I've ever heard.

Also, when did you folks become globalists? I thought that Trump was going to stop being the "world's policeman". You can't keep even your own philosophy straight.

Lastly, a quick history challenge for you: please find the last 70 year period without a major, multi-state, global conflict. Get back to me on that at your earliest convenience.

+ a million! I think Trump voters don't realize how much more insecure the middle east will get when no country is taking refugees and the US refuses to be involved in anyway anymore. I don't think that Trump voters realize that our investment in Europe and NATO pays back 100 fold in terms of having a stable prosperous Europe with whom we can do lots of business and make money. I think Trump voters don't realize that the nuclear weapons stability we have will be undermined by Trump's policies if carried out as stated. I don't think Trump voters realize how policies of ignoring the Geneva Conventions, engaging in water boarding, aka torture, and Muslim discrimination inside America will actually inflame the global jihad instead of weaken it.

How do you think the State bureaucracy will respond to such leaders? Will they go along? Will they quietly slow-walk detrimental policies? Will they resign quietly? Will they resign in protest?

What is the moral obligation of the State bureaucracy? If you work in L and water boarding comes back, do you do the dirty work of diplomacy with countries to which we are rendering suspects for torture? Do you resign? If Trump orders us to stop paying our dues to NATO because other countries aren't paying their "fair share", do you deliver that message to NATO colleagues or do you resign in protest?

They don't care. The town's aging and inefficient steel mill closed. And they fail to realize one of the causes was Trump wants cheap steel subsidized by the Chinese government.

We have to make peace with the fact that the uneducated crowd which voted for him abhors any mention of class, decorum, intellectual pursuits, education, they resonated with him because he is a coarse man with no class. So here we are, actually living the movie Idiocracy.

Trump drained the swamp pretty quickly to end up with the likes of these slime encrusted bottom feeders.
