Oh stop it, you man-hating feminazi! How dare you point out this fact!

[and no, he has not been caught and is believed to still be on the loose]

It's a simple fact that men are more violent than woman. I suppose I could blame it on institutionalized sexism, bias in arresting and charging in the legal system and stereotype threat, but I won't.

Or you could blame it on he fact that men have always fought for power and control using violence as their primary tactic...there is no sexism here, just reality.

Testoterone.

Testosterone makes a person more violent.

He does not look hispanic.

His facial structure and skin tone do not loom hispanic.

Are they saying hispanic based off the footage, or did based of witnesses and things he might have said?

It was sarcasm. Obviously men are more violent.

To pp blaming it on testosterone - that's such a copout. It suggests that men can't help it, because it's biological. All women have testosterone flowing through their veins - and women rarely pull this kind of crap.

I'd blame more on sense of entitlement that many (most?) men don't think they have.

Ignoring testostrone's effect on violent behavior is just uneducated and quite frankly, stupid.

OK - but what about the innocent hunters and target shooters?

They didn't do anything wrong.

What happens to them?

Nothing happens to them. I also don't object to people keeping a pistol locked up in their home (although it appears to be a tall order to get dumbasses to keep their guns away from their toddlers).

We don't need to have people carrying assault rifles and firearms as they go about their everyday life. There's no reason for it.

The suspect is still on the loose.

I think it's primarily biological in origin.

Some researchers think make faces have evolved to be able to withstand damage during fights: http://www.livescience.com/46216-male-faces-evolved-for-fighting.html

Men have about 20 times the amount of testosterone that women do. It makes a difference.

No excuses for poor behavior, but biology (as much as people don't want to believe it) impacts behavior.

Ok then, so what's the solution? Manipulate testosterone levels in men? Accept men being violent as biological and no preventative (just punitive) measures? Prevent men from owning weapons? If biology is the culprit, what do you suggest to counter that?
