| Amy Porter looks to be certified and has offices in fairfax and Reston. Anyone know anything about her? |
from what I've read on Yelp, people love her as a doctor but HATE her office staff and the way her office is run. For me what's most important is the doctor. I'd put up with minor annoyances if I know that my doctor is competent. |
| tobie beckerman is good too. her office is further out, but she is great and helped me with the same. |
| Has anyone used Melinda Hall at Tysons? |
| So do these symptoms ever clear up or do you stay on hrt forever? I can't take it because it gave me tightness in the chest. |
That's the dilemma with HRT. Once you stop taking it all the symptoms of menopause come back and it's not recommended to be on it for a prolonged period of time as your risks increase as you get older. |
please cite your statement PP. That is ancient thinking. |
I'm the pp who wrote this. Is the ancient thinking that you are referring to the dangers of being on HRT long term or that the menopause symptoms return upon stopping? My gynecologist was the one who told me that the symptoms return upon stopping HRT. Another doctor of mine - my hemotologist - told me that as you get older your risk of blood clots goes up and even more so while being on HRT. Perhaps this is all outdated information. I will do some further research on this. |
Do you know if she accepts insurance? Her website doesn't say. |
