Tell me the best way to cook corn on the cob

Leave the last layer of the husk on the urn. Microwave for 2 min. Then shuck completely and stuck on the grill.

I just did this over the weekend and came out with perfect corn:

Shuck the corn, put it in a pot and cover with cold water, bring to a boil, turn off the heat and cover, leave on the burner (but no heat, remember) for 15 minutes.

I do the same for hardboiled eggs, by the way. Always turn out awesome.

Aw thanks! For some reason this was so thoughtful and sweet lol. I think I'll try boiling it like some have suggested. I like the hard boiled egg comparison. That's how I do my eggs and they always come out right.

+1 leave it in the husks, cut across the top to remove the silk. 3 minutes/ear in the microwave on high, no need to flip it during the 3 minutes. You can cook several ears at same time, but make sure to add 3 min for each extra ear.

This is what I do, too.

I grill mine in the husks. Soak them in salt water first.

Just put a pan underneath (on a different rack) to catch any of the pieces that fall off and could burn. It makes removing the husks so easy. Just hold with a towel and peel back. You could then season the way you like. I think grilling taste really good as well, but this is a super simple way to go.

This is the only way I cook corn now. Super simple, no prep, turns out perfect every time.
I used to shuck, then boil. Baking is much easier.

It depends upon how much you want to make at one time. If you aren't making a lot, a great way to cook it is in the husk in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. It is so easy to get the husk off, though use oven mitts because it's very hot. If you are making a lot at one time, you can take off the husk and then boil the corn for about 3-5 minutes. Very easy.

I don't like grilled corn on the cob. I prefer boiled for a few minutes with a bit of sugar in the water.

Boil it with some lobsters and clams

I'd the corn is good, it stands alone. Boiled for 4 minuets. Done.

I prefer to steam my corn. 1" of water in the bottom of a pot, add a steamer basket. Bring to a boil and add the shucked corn. Steam for 10-15 minutes, depending on how soft you like it.
