Umm, no. The emails were provided to Wikileaks -- they could have been (and likely were, if they were provided by Russian intelligence) doctored prior to being handed to Wikileaks for publishing. The hacker who claims credit for providing the emails to Wikileaks is Guccifer 2, who may be Romanian or may be Russian intelligence.

If this is true, why have we not heard ANYONE from the DNC disavow the ones that have been published?

No one at the DNC identified errors in the messages or claimed that they were doctored. The emails were sufficiently incriminating that DWS resigned, and others probably should, too.

However, because of the chain of custody issues, for the purposes of any criminal charges the emails would be inadmissible as evidence. Were they to indicate some kind of criminal activity, the subsequent investigation would have to develop independent evidence.

Two of those voice mails were voice mails of two different ambassadors. One message was on DWS voicemail from an ambassador. Also, one message was a meal with Obama. Clearly pay for contact/meetings/favors. They didn't doctor the voice mails. I heard the ambassadors are livid.

As for the DNC mails, my understanding is that there was some Cyrilic metadata in some of the leaked documents indicating at least some documents were modified or at least opened up by Russian intelligence. When this was pointed out, subsequent leaks have lost the Cyrillic metadata. I suspect the general gist of the emails is true but a few of the truly repugnant emails were added by Russian intelligence for added effect, but have nothing to prove this.

I'd also suspect anything really really embarrassing stuff will get released the Thursday or maybe Friday before the election. Or, they'll just be at this level but designed to make some of those wavering between Stein and Clinton go towards Stein.

As I've asked on numerous other occasions, when has Wikileaks EVER embarrassed Putin/Russia? I mean, are the truly the most transparent country on the planet, in no need of the sunshine that Wikileaks provides?

I know the far-left "Bernie's too right wing" crowd still regards Wikileaks as some sort of guiding force bringing good to the world.

I'd like to think anyone to the right of Bernie would realize by now that Wikileaks is very selective in who they bring sunshine and transparency to.

Finally -- and this will apply to Trump too -- the case against a major-party Presidential candidate in the months before the election would have to be so fucking air tight that Houdini couldn't escape from it.

There'd have to be video evidence, more than ten witnesses, and possibly God Himself descending from Heaven before ANYONE would even think of arresting, much less launching a criminal case against Trump or Clinton at this point.

I suspect -- and I could be wrong -- that Clinton/Trump would step aside (or be made to step aside) for someone else, presumably/hopefully Sanders or Cruz/Kasich. But there'd be chaos as the campaign would just need to switch gears and the affected party would likely take a 5-10 point dip in the polls at least initially. (I don't know what would happen if the RNC/DNC tried to force their candidate out but the candidate refused.)

If there were an actual trial during the campaign season, the world would just fucking stop for a week or two. It'd be easily the biggest news story in the WORLD for WEEKS.

Yugoslavia wasn't really part of the Eastern Bloc, not the way the actual Warsaw Pact countries were. Hell, they were even in Eurovision from 1963 until the breakup.

The few remaining Bernie supporters have shown themselves to be totally rational, and what would look like a weak denial - which, several months later is what it would look like (do you remember every work email you send?) - would just make those same supporters completely hair tearing-out crazy.
