I suspect -- and I could be wrong -- that Clinton/Trump would step aside (or be made to step aside) for someone else, presumably/hopefully Sanders or Cruz/Kasich. But there'd be chaos as the campaign would just need to switch gears and the affected party would likely take a 5-10 point dip in the polls at least initially. (I don't know what would happen if the RNC/DNC tried to force their candidate out but the candidate refused.)

If there were an actual trial during the campaign season, the world would just fucking stop for a week or two. It'd be easily the biggest news story in the WORLD for WEEKS. [/quote]
