Are there any emails that could put hillary in jail or have her indicted?
How about Clinton Foundation pay to play? |
| Here's the thing - the Russians are notorious for mixing in real emails and faked ones. This is a known thing. So, now that Trump has basically publicly pledged allegiance to United Russia, there's going to be no way of knowing what's real and what isn't. |
|
Obviously not a lawyer, but I'd think any emails would have to lead to collaborating evidence because the chain of custody of anything Wikileaks releases will be compromised. So, emails alone won't put her in jail.

+1 It's a bit odd that everyone is reading these Wikileaks emails as if they are all 100% undoctored. That seems unlikely, really. |
| It is the oddest obsession to be sitting in your home thinking of hypothetical ways to imprison Hillary Clinton. Get a grip. |
This is the amazing thing about Trump. If he'd publicly disavowed the leaks and distanced himself, there would be far less speculation that the Russians are helping him intentionally. Instead he can't decide whether he knows Vladimir Putin, can't decide if he likes him, and whether he wants Russia to hack the US or not. It's jaw droppingly stupid. |
Yeah right ... Wiki leaks have full time staff doctoring emails. DWS should get her job back. They are all doctored. |
Umm, no. The emails were provided to Wikileaks -- they could have been (and likely were, if they were provided by Russian intelligence) doctored prior to being handed to Wikileaks for publishing. The hacker who claims credit for providing the emails to Wikileaks is Guccifer 2, who may be Romanian or may be Russian intelligence. |
Interesting theory. If this is true, why have we not heard ANYONE from the DNC disavow the ones that have been published? (Hint: Because they didn’t doctor them. They didn’t have to. They speak for themselves.) |
Yep, +100 |
Sure, but the question is whether an email on Wikileaks could be used as evidence of a crime. And the answer is: probably not, because Clinton probably would disavow that email, and given the provenance, it would not be admissible in court. |
Falling over ourselves in desperation, aren't we now?
|
Nope. I am actually just stating a fact. You like facts, don’t you? |
| Didn't Assange say he was going to release more emails right before Clinton speaks at the DNC, for maximum effect? He hasn't done that yet, has he? Or was he just joking when he said that? |
