What do you think of Cory booker?

He caught my attention back when he ran into a burning house and saved a woman. Chuck Norris has nothing on this guy. He is indeed a rock star and his future is very bright.

My brother, who is an AA, liberal, political junkie, can't stand him for some reason--I'm forgetting exactly why. All I recall is what someone mentioned upthread about him messing up re: Newark school reform (which I believe he worked on with Chris Christie and with a large public donation from Zuckerburg).

Grifter. Took the first opportunity to abandon Newark and the failure of the $100 million gift to the public schools. Cares more about perception, social media than leadership.

The Prize is great book that highlights his true character.

interesting. because a friend of mine volunteers at a nj soup kitchen. Booker shows up without media and just helps. Christie shows up for the photo op once...and hightails it out after.

He's way too cozy with the banks. Criticized Obama's ads attacking Romney's dubious past in private equity *in the middle of the 2012 election campaign*. Will not please the Bernie wing of the party at all.
