I think liberalism as its defined here is different. Pretty much all of western society is liberal comparatively speaking. Most people are liberal - classical liberal not the new brand of champagne socialists and limousine liberals we have here.

Just pointing out that not everyone gets greedy when their income goes up. I don't mind doing my part (wish the money was used more efficiently though; also wish we didn't dump so much on unnecessary wars). And even if I did get swayed for financial reasons I could never, ever align with a party that routinely tries to tear down rights of others who don't live like them.

^ and we were $250-300k for a long time but then we started a small business 4 years ago and it's done very well.

Obamacare was an expensive change for us, but we still know it was the right thing to do for the good of our society.
