Kirkland Formula?

This is a nutty post. Costco has been selling this formula for years! If there was a problem I think we would have heard about by now. Costco's not about to risk their billion dollar business on cutting corners with baby food products.

+1 We started with Kirkland's formula and it as fine but tasted very metalic. We switched to the Target brand and my son liked it much more.

You tasted it?

Keep telling yourself this.

Where is it made? China? No way.

Oh Jesus. Some of these PP are ridiculous! Baby formula is highly tested and regulated. All brands are equally safe and have the same vitamins and virtually the same ingredients. Baby will do just fine on Kirkland.

Wow.

It amazes me that people don't understand how store branded products work. Kirkland is the house BRAND for Costco. There's no company named Kirkland, it's just the name they use for their store branded products. So the company that makes Kirkland branded formula (that would be Abbott Nutrition, who also makes Similac) is NOT the same company that makes Kirkland branded shampoo (that would be Pureology) or Kirkland branded diapers (that would be Kimberly Clark, who also makes Huggies), etc....

DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW??

I think I would probably blow your mind if I tried explaining about Trader Joe's...

Yeah ok but that's besides the point of the post. We DON'T know who makes their formula.

Yes I did. It's formula, not breastmilk. Why wouldn't you taste it?

My child went to a daycare in a different state in which the daycare provided Similac formula and we used Kirklands formula at home. She took both and never complained. You can always buy one container and try it. There are plenty of choices out there.

Are you always a conspiracy theorist or just about generic formula?

Google "Who makes Kirkland formula". And then read this: https://whatigoogledlastnight.wordpress.com/2014/08/17/who-manufactures-kirkland-brand-infant-formula/ , and read the links to FDA and USDA that are provided that helped the poster feel confident that Abbott makes Kirkland formula.
