Wow, are we still considering certain footwear "cool" or "uncool"? You'd think kids would have moved past that by now. Dress your kid in what you can afford and what they like wearing. |
| UA and Adidas are cool around us for boys. |
| Is New Balance still cool? |
My kid's style is kind of preppy, I guess, and has a pair of these and wears them a lot. |
|
What about Sketchers?
|
| My boys choose their shoes based on color only. |
Were they ever? |
Definitely not cool for any age. |
I like that your kid is a cool sneakerhead! But if OPs kid isn't, its really more than fine for the big brands to be cool for her kid too! |
90s early 2000s, prep..........yup. Somehow frat boys and middle school science teachers merged on that trend
|
| What's cool is very school dependent. You'll have to ask. |
| Addias for a soccer player, Nike for anyone else. |
| Jordans |
New Balance makes a quality product and until a few years ago still made their shoes in the US. I love their 574s and all the different colors they come in. I didn't know of New Balance's appeal to fratty types in the late 90s early 2000s, that would explain why they make Harvard's hockey jerseys, the only New Balance school in college hockey. |
This Is a joke post, right? |
