Has anyone had their reception at Maggiano’s?

Our rehearsal dinner was at the Tysons one and it was great. We got extra food and had a ton - lots of fun. Had a bar in the room, family style food, and it was pretty relaxed.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Maggiano's in Tysons and everyone loved it, let their hair down, and just had a good time. The food was excellent. My BIL still talks about it now, 13 years later; it is so funny!

My sisters and I have also thrown a few bridal showers there. They're always nice and easy to work with. They have it down to a science now. They know what people want and make it easy.

I'm jealous. It sounds like a stress free event. My best friend is getting married and her reception is turning into a nightmare.

We will have about 30 guest. Any cons to this idea? We will also consider having an ordaine minister officiate the quick ceremony at the restaurant as well.

had rehearsal dinner there. Can't imagine actual reception there. But I'm sure some do. Seems a bit factory like to me. We used a restaurant that is only open for dinner on Saturdays. Used during the day.

Lovely and stress free. We had our wedding reception at the CC Maggiano's for party of about 10 people. Ordered family style meals for about $700. We brought our own wedding cake and some flowers. We rented the smaller room called, "Piccolo". Just beautiful.

Are you thinking about the dining hall? PPs are talking about the private rooms upstairs that is used for parties and receptions.

What's the difference between that and your restaurant that is only open for dinner on Saturdays? Restaurant is a restaurant. It's not like you had it a Meadowlark of something...

Went to a bar mitzvah reception/party there. Great space, fun party, everyone enjoyed it. Sounds easy--you are a smart bride and groom!

We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was lovely. There was a reception down the hall from us in the largest room and they were having a blast. It is a great venue and they did a phenomenal job.

I would much rather have a nice meal at Maggianos than eat some of the disgusting food I have had at banquet halls, hotels and other assorted wedding venues.

It sounds like fun to me! If the purpose of your wedding is to "wow people," maybe look at other options, but if you want everyone to have a good time the. Sounds great.

Srsly. The meal choice card should read:
Dry Chicken Breast with Bland Cream Sauce
Cold Prime Rib with mushy mixed vegetables
Small portion of Salmon with Too Much Dill Sauce
