But the truth is if we end up at our IB, I will breathe a logistical sign of relief. I haaaaate driving.

+1. Right now I only drive on weekends, and the amount of stress that removes from my life is huge. I only listed schools that have a shuttle from our neighborhood, which took us out of most schools. Oh well.

+2

I didn't put any schools with a commute that requires a car.

My fantasy is that both my kids get into Creative Minds. And then I take the day off from work and gleefully get drunk.

Not going to happen. Except maybe the getting drunk part.

If 1 gets in the other will. Good luck!

futilely hoping for Oyster PK4. IB and could do drop off on way to work. But no sibling and no Spanish so no Oyster this year. Another long year of commuting to same day care.

I'll give you $100 if you DON'T get in VN. If you are IB, you are guaranteed. If you are OOB, you will get in through the summer if not tomorrow. I'll bet our HRCS spot on it.

Neither of your realistics is realistic. You will need a lot of luck.

SS and breathrough are the realistics this year. But Lee does have a new classroom and there will always be more movement in Montessori than immersion (it's just not for everyone).

I'm hoping to get an OOB PK3 spot at Van Ness or Ludlow-Taylor.

From what I know about CM parents, you would fit right in.

This. It's a great year to get into any Montessori school. Just make sure it is what you want, however, and not just because you "heard it was a good school".

Sounds good to me. CMI is my #1. There will drinks to celebrate or blunt my disappointment.
