| Girl 100% for me. Boy 100% for DH. Pretty sure we could never decide. |
That was my thought. This topic has been done to death in long, recent threads, which any quick search would bring up. Plus, the original post not only has gender selection but also leftover embryos -- two controversial topics for the price of one! |

I'd ask the doctor to choose the healthiest one to put back and refuse to choose based on sex.

| It's mind blowing to me that people who go through such trouble to have a kid would even care. A healthy baby. |
Why is it so mind blowing. If OP's lab asked - they have to answer something. |
|
OP here, wow the vitriol is ripe. If you hate the question, why do you even bother posting a reply? Bitter much?
We have struggled many years and have dealt with loss after loss and disappointing BFNs. Like I said, we hit the jackpot with healthy donor embryos. Do you honestly think that using a donor was my first choice? No, but we adapted. Do you honestly think that we don't want a healthy baby? We have every intention of donating our unused healthy blasts for adoption. Please only answer if you have something of value to add, otherwise kindly find another infertile woman to cyber bully...you guys are really great at it. |

I always wanted a daughter but ended up with 3 sons. If I were in your shoes I would have chosen a girl, but I would have been wrong. My 3 boys are the best thing that could have happened to me. I'm a bit competitive by nature (not my best quality) and it turns out that I love being the only woman in the house. My boys adore me and they are (shockingly to me!) well behaved, polite, adorable, and I have no doubt they will take care of me when I'm old.
I was 1 of 3 girls growing up and my mom is beside herself that I never had a daughter - I just smile and nod now, all the while telling myself that I'm the lucky one to have these 3 boys. |

| Boy- keep your family name going. |
| What clinic is even letting you factor gender I to this decision and why are you asking strangers on the internet about such a personal decision? Or was this just an excuse to brag about having ten perfect embryos? |
actually all clinics in the area but SGF will let you pick gender. SGF will allow you to know what gender embryos you have but will not allow to pick for transfer. Why is it such a foreign concept? Part of PGS is determining gender, you pay $ for that info, you're certainly entitled to know if you wish to know. |
| OP, if you have a preference, go for it! If you don't, let the clinic pick. I'm not sure how quizzing us on our gender preferences will help you make a decision. |
| Go for twins - one of each. |
