The charter school board website has Round 1 data for charter schools but I'm not aware of anything after that. So it isn't very helpful.

Yes, noted in my OP that we are happy for her to be in the child care she is in till K.

if you do not get in for PK3 or Pk4 are you comfortable with your IB school for K-5?

I'm looking at Christian Family Montessori as an excellent and affordable elementary school nearby if I don't get into a wish list school. I'd consider my IB (burroughs) also though.

SWS was our top choice and it's a CRAZY drive from us. We didn't get in two years running, and are totally happy elsewhere, but fingers crossed for you.

Correct. DCPCSB didn't release any follow-on data. As someone else mentioned it was probably anomalous in light of 2R-Young starting anew and MV having significant unplanned expansion. But still would be better to at least have the data.

Didn't YY also open a K classroom? This had a trickle down effect on tons of other waitlists. I know our school lost a couple families to YY, 2R, and MV, which opened up slots that wouldn't have normally been there.

2R Young opened new PK3, PK4 and K. MV added PK3 and PK4.

I am going for Burroughs too. However, they are changing principals. But I don't think that matters personally. The early childhood classes are great. I have heard great things about them.

PP here. No, too far. Only making exceptions to the distance rule for LAMB (Perry St) and YY.
