| I'd tell after the 20 week ultrasound. Then you can tell everyone the sex when sharing the news. I'd tell your boss first, to give him/her a heads up you'll be out for a few weeks in the summer, and then just start dropping it into conversation with other coworkers. If you want to it spread fast, tell the office gossip. |
You are so manly that you didn't take any time to bond with your newborn after their birth! Manly men don't stop workin' for nothin'. |
Not 2 weeks, no. |
| And certainly would never expect to take 3 weeks off..... thats ridiculous. |
they're both expecting but ugh he said "we're" pregnant. didn't realize men carry the baby as well...
|
I actually am expecting. I am expecting a child. Thanks for the input though. |
OP here. I actually didn't say that. Go bak and read the OP. I said: "My wife is pregnant and we're expecting our first child this summer. Very exciting!" Also, thanks for your valued input. |
At least one of you should take your career seriously. 3 weeks off so you can sit around the house and watch your wife nurse the baby? Give me a freaking break. |
Ha, the career's doing great actually. And, thankfully 3 weeks won't hold it back, at all. Carry on though. |
| I don't see why men do this. |
Because they are lazy? |
Me too! I thought this was a trans man who hadn't told work about his gender assigned at birth. This is a very disappointing thread. |
Ha! This is good satire! |
|
OP here. We're currently about 18 weeks pregnant.
Op I think people were referring to this comment. Personally, I think it is great you want to bond with your baby and help your wife! But, as others have stated "you are not pregnant"
|
And the irony of it all is that they'll formula feed instead of breast feed so both would sit around for 4 months twiddling thumbs. |
