Mexican is good, just leave off the cheese and sour cream.
Eggs, bacon
Vegetable soup
Salsa and salad dressings are good add-ons for flavor
Gluten Free pasta with tomato sauce
Steak, salad and french fries
Udi's breads makes good garlic bread and french toast.
Almond milk is good

Agree with this. We did this for DS. His condition improved immensely, but he lost so much weight, we was off the charts. A different doctor questioned how we knew if it was the gluten or milk that he couldn't tolerate. We added milk back to his diet and he was fine- it's just the gluten that's a problem.

NP here. An elimination diet works best for adults if you want to find out what is wrong. You take all of the possible offenders out first (for about 4-6 weeks for maximum benefits) and then add them back in one at a time. This is the best way to make sure that the reason for the improvement was one particular food. When you add it back, you find the answer you are looking for.

I maintain a dairy free and gluten free diet. I have celiac and dairy gives me some terrible allergy symptoms. You will need to stay away from most restaurants during this trial period, especially Asian restaurants because pretty much all of them use soy sauce with wheat in it. In addition, restaurant food is frequently high in fat and if you're having GI problems, you're probably not digesting fats very well.

So now you cook at home. If your supermarket has a wimpy gluten-free section then find a natural food store such as Roots or Whole Foods. I find that I can modify most recipes to my needs. Gluten free flour can be substituted in most baked goods except for yeast breads which never seem quite right. (King Arthur makes the best GF flour.) You can replace dairy with soy milk or almond milk. I think almond milk actually tastes pretty good. Daiya makes a good dairy free cheese that can be used in recipes but it's not that great by itself. Daiya also has gluten free / dairy free pizza in the freezer section.

There are tons of things!

Just recent meals for me: white chicken chili, pork roast with mashed potatoes (mash them with chicken broth or mustard), fried rice (use Tamari), shrimp or fish with tacos, tamale pie (no cheese on top), meatloaf (use gf bread crumbs), poached salmon, tuna salad, egg salad, shrimp cocktail, scallops. Bunless hamburgers, chicken schwarma with rice, BBQ chicken/ribs/brisket.......

Plus all vegetables and fruits, of course.
