? She gave interviews to magazines like Essence talking about the surrogate mother and how excited they were. Plus signed legal docs and had lawyers involved to hire the mother. I'm not sure being "Uber busy" (is she driving a cab?) is a valid excuse |

LOL! Good one, Lamar! |
Sorry Sherry, that's not how it works. Fortunately the appellate courts just disagreed with you. |

I know nothing on the topic of her child/husband but she was always funny as Tracy Morgan's wife on 30 rock.
She is cute/funny/full of personality, but also comes off as embarrassingly ignorant. She has come out with crazy uneducated things on that talk show she was/is on (eg not knowing the earth was not flat). It was painful to watch-thankfully I only saw it a couple times when I was home sick, but every time she'd make me laugh, then later blush with embarrassment for her. |
Yes, but him being a moocher and and bring owed child support are not mutually exclusive things |
Believe it or not she was a legal secretary while waiting for her big break. Not sure what that says about her intelligence level but.... |
| she is disgusting. I cannot fathom how someone could go down the road of surrogacy (a serious move) and then just cavalierly disassociate herself from the child. she is the mother!! |

I liked her as a T.V. personality, but now think she is a liar and a selfish person.
Reason being is that when she was married to her husband, she couldn't conceive naturally so they went through all the logistics to get a surrogate to birth them a child that they would raise together. Well the marriage went bad and suddenly Sherri decided that she didn't want an extra baby either. So she changed her mind. Well you cannot hire a surrogate to birth your child, then if your marriage is ending, change your mind about being a parent. That is not how life works. When she agreed to have the surrogate carry a child for her, she made a responsibility to that child that she was going to be his/her parent. It is not the child's fault that she changed her mind because her marriage ended in divorce. For her to try to deny she was this child's mother and try to pin it on the surrogate is just cruel to me. It isn't the child's fault that the situation soured so quickly. Even the law is confused since this has never happened before. Every woman who has a surrogate has always kept their vow to be a parent, no one has ever changed their mind during the surrogate's pregnancy and tried to run away from their parental responsibilities. |
