I just caught on to this story and it seems to have a lot of "hot button" issues. I don't understand how her husband could have to apply for government assistance for insurance for the child and the surrogate had to pay child support to her ex?
Granted I skimmed the article, but what in the world? |
| Sometimes I feel sorry for her. Her ex is a scammer. Then I realize, she could have insisted on adoption instead of surrogacy. |
|
How is he a scammer? Is he really that poor that he needed child support from the surrogate waitress? |
| I think she's dumber than a doorknob. |
| Zero talent. |
|
What am I missing here?
I thought she ditched her husband and back peddled about the baby; leaving the husband and surrogate to raise the baby. |
YES! He was a unemployed loser when she took him in. Messed up big time! Apparently her best friend Niecy Nash set her up! Ugh! |
You missed a LOT! First hubby is suing for custody of the special needs son and hubby #2 is just trying to live off of her for the rest of her life. Sad, sad, sad! |
I don't understand how a TV star (like her or not, she's a working actress and comedian) meets a penniless man and marries him. And I'm sorry but I'm not buying her whole "I signed the surrogate paperwork" under duress. She was working and obviously competent enough to manage a career. Duress doesn't mean "I realize now that wasn't a good move". Who is this guy anyways |
Nope. He's pursuing the child support that their child is owed by her. She agreed to this child and refuses to take responsibility for it when she wanted out of the marraige. Like thousands of women in this country have to fight for their child's rights, Lamar is fighting for his child's rights. |
He was a loser and he set her up. |
|
It seems like once she wanted out of the marriage she wanted "out" with the child.
Unfortunately that's not how it works, even with a child conceived by surrogacy. |
Naw, it was set up. She was already taking care of a special needs child. She was uber busy during their marriage and admittedly left a lot of her personal affairs in the hands of others -- including Lamar. She messed up. It happens to the best of them. I read a lot of autobiographies and biographies of old stars and similar situations have happened with them - thinking of people like Josephine Baker, Pearl Bailey, and even Lena Horne! |
Yeah, I seem to remember him saying something like it was his child. We won't know the full story while the lawyers are involved. Maybe in 30 years or so we will get the full story. |
