I would pronounce Lyra like the constellation, namely LIE-rah.
The only Aris I have ever heard of is Aris T. Allen (because of the boulevard named after him). |
| Silas and Serena. The rest are VERY precious (even Silas is, but it's the best of your list). Jasper is a cat's name. |
|
None of the girls names.
Silas is the only boy's name I like. |
|
I like Silas. I don't like Milo (you have the Meelo vs. my-lo pronunciation question). I think Jasper is a dog's name.
I like Aria, but I would spell it Arya if you want the 2 syllable pronunciation. It is a little Game of Thrones though. I know a baby Lyra, but I'm not sure if it's pronounced Ly-ra or lee-yra. It's a little close to lycra for me. I like Serena but it's a little waspy for me. |
| Sorry, not my favorites... |
None of the boys names except maybe Jasper if you had a very bland last name. Serena for the girls name. You seem to be really trying for a certain unique name, with an "a" sound and no nickname but many of these are really reaching. Calla, Aria and Lyra (I thought it was Lycra) are odd and not cutesy. Willa is ok. |
| I love Silas, Serena, and Lyra. |

Jasper
Milo Willa Serena |
my thoughts exactly |
These are the names I would expect to see for the over-coddled little miscreants disrupting a professor at Yale. Give me a Joe or Susan any day. |
| None. Start over. All but Serena are really to far out there. |
Same |
My thoughts too... |

Silas - HATE
Jasper - are ya British? it's okay. If you're American, seems better suited for a dog. If in the UK, it's fine Milo - HATE Aris - HATE Lyra "lee-ra" - not good, not awful Willa - awful Aria - not good Calla - clunky, not good Katya - are ya Russian? or a former prima ballerina? if so, it's fine. Serena - ugly |

Please don't name your daughter Aria. |
