Are gallery wall photos in? Do you have one ? Where in your house?

Damn! I love PB. I'm not giving it up yet.

I did one in the long hallway upstairs but I mixed together family photos, art, objects of interest (keys from our first house on a hook, a macrame thing my mom made in the 60's, things like that) and some floating shelves to keep it from looking too "been there done that" and dated.
I kept it all black, white and earth tones with a mix of metals, natural fibers and wood so it looks really nice

Guest house in the living room? Or does OP have a room solely dedicated to cake decorating?

I need a translator.

Beach house in the dining room?

That or it's a brothel for food fetishists.

Boat house in the drawing room?

I did Google "icing room" before asking, thought it was some term for a special room. In a McMansion.

I have an icing room where I decorate cupcakes and cookies. It's right next to my wrapping room and across the hall from my craft room.

Sounds like it should be in the relationship forum

This is exactly what I thought of when I heard "icing." Is icing room the new mud room?

Most of West Elm's merchandise is garbage, but cautiously. I too did not realize that PB was out of fashion at least 10 years ago. Guess I better rid my home of all those awful throw blankets! What is "in"? Are there any suitable box stores? Or should we only purchase high end designer items?

Room & Board, CB2, West Elm, Z Gallerie, DWR, Mitchell Gold. Crate and Barrel has always been fresher than PB so I'd put it on the list too.

Z Gallery is gaudy. Do you haveuch experience with M&G? Looking into buying new couches and I am leaning toward that company.

The gaudy look is one of the current design trends - the whole hollywood regency thing is big right now. Along with midcentury. Not for everyone, but Z gallery style is certainly trendy right now.

Oh and yes we have a M&G couch. It's very good quality and construction, though the back pillows fall down more than i'd like. I think M&G's annual sale is ongoing? I still think my favorite quality most comfy couch i've ever owned is from Arhaus.
