They were never anything special. Fine for a mass marketed cookie, but that's it.

You never had them 20 years ago - they were so good. A hint of coconut, perfectly sweet, a good crumble (but not crispy) yet some still slightly melty chocolate chips for a boxed cookie.

The new ones taste like cardboard. They are awful.

Yes, I did- in fact I haven't had them since then because they weren't anything to clamor for to begin with. Not that they were bad- just nothing special.

WE GET IT

Why do people do this. Come into a thread about a thing they hate So they can argue with with everyone who likes that thing.

If you have an Advantium or similar oven, try putting Chips Ahoy in on the Crisp setting for about 40 minutes...creates an entirely new texture.

I have wondered how these were! I haven't bought their cookies in an age but their other varieties used to be pretty good.

Glad to know FA stinks now. I don't have to feel tempted when I see the little packs at the checkout.

I think I might have FA confused with Grandma's cookies. Does anyone remember those?

I was thinking this about Mrs. Fields the other day. I got a packaged chocolate chip cookie and all I could taste was cardboard and preservatives.
