Are you returning or not returning to the same camp next year and why?

11:24 again -

the other camps we've done, we thought were great.
Camp Kids Place - more religious than we are, but she loved it. will do again.
YMCA Cheer camp - a big hit, though she hated their Camp Kirkwood last year.
Mad Science - kind of expensive and the space was pretty unimpressive and the camp size was small - 22 kids. But she had a great time.

Why not Beauvoir?

Did he say why? Maybe not into tech that much? This is my DS's 3rd year. He *loves* it, including the games they play during athletics. He's in 2 sessions and definitely wants to go back next year.

Definitely returning to TIC.

DS also wants to try the Going Green Adventure camp at Madiera next year instead of the standard Greenway camp that he has enjoyed.

We will return to Sidwell next year. I was impressed with the program and my kids have loved every minute of it.

Definitely returning to TIC Camp.

Definitely not returning to Digital Kidz camp through Parktakes. We have tried different programs over three separate summers and each time it has been underwhelming, and is more expensive than TIC Camp.

Why give it three chances if its always underwhelming? That's kind of foolish...

Yeah he says it's too much like school. He did like the Athletics part of it. But I'm not paying $900 for athletics, lol. Sad. It sounds wonderful. And like I said, all my friends' kids rave about it.

Because it was three different programs. Plus, as you know, I excel at being a foolish parent. I am sure you are so very sorry for my children!

I can't judge you or your children, only the behavior you admit to on this site.

i don't think so bc/ of the bus system. they pick up at our stop at 8 and drop off at 5. not sure what the times are for the other locations.

doing creative summer for the 4th summer in a row - this was our first year of swim and it was terrific - really good instruction and DD has gained so much ground. next year, she'll be in big camp and is SUPER excited to have all those choices.

i wish they started swim younger - at 5 instead of 6. (b/c my younger will be in the 5s next year)
