If you are a straight woman and a female friend hit on you

If you're not interested, say you're not interested, but you hope it won't affect your friendship. It might. And if telling people would have ripple effects on her life, don't tell anyone in your circle. There can be negative consequences of outing someone, even if they're just bi-curious and not actually bi or gay.

My reaction would be similiar to this. Flattered to be hit on, but not interested.

Depends. I don't really have any friends right now that would interest me sexually, but I can see myself being intrigued by a come-on from the right woman. I'm single and if she were also, I might be tempted to explore.

This is what I did when my drunken bff grabbed my thigh and shoved her tongue down my throat while dropping me off one night.
I think she knew deep down that this wouldn't fly but you can't fault a girl for trying.

I don't like heavy flirting from anyone who is married. It's a mixed message and quite manipulative.

Could also spice up the marriage.

Are you still friends?

Depends on if she is hot or not. However I sometimes play, which I'd fully sanctioned by my husband.

She says that's not so, but I know that it is.

The thought of being with another woman is totally repulsive to me. Sorry.

Do you find yourself repulsive? I can understand not being turned on, not being interested... but repulsed? Really?
Anonymous
Well I, for one, would not find it flattering. Frankly, I would be repulsed.

I had a stunningly beautiful best friend in college (leggy, blond, blue-eyed, beautiful face, actually close to Nora Arnezeder (Zoo) who came on to me one night. She dated men exclusively, as did I, but she definitely made a pass at me on the sofa after a party. I gently moved her hands away and said that I was tired and needed to call it a night. It never happened again and we have both been happily married to men with kids for decades. I have never been attracted to women and this encounter confirmed it for me. It didn't repulse me but I was just not interested whatsoever.

Yes.. she was embarrassed for a bit but shouldn't have been... I saw it as flattering, she didn't push when I said no, all good.

You were flattered by her drunken behavior? Are your standards always this low?
