| I had it at age 32. It was no big deal. A little tingling plus rash. I'm guessing the symptoms are worse in older people? |

Yes, I'm a nurse and have seen it many times. Incredibly painful, I'm told. All ages too, but as others have said, mostly elderly.
Common places are on the trunk and head, and I've seen it in the eye more than once =( |
