Is "Breaking Bad" worth it?

It's such a good show. This thread makes me want to go back and rewatch the whole thing. One of the best shows I've ever seen. The acting by the two leads is phenomenal.

This show affected me like no other. Like a PP, I sobbed during a few of the episodes and felt such a loss when I finished all the seasons. It was as if the White family was a part of me by then and I was just so traumatized by how it ended.

Ok, I'm really a normal person, but this was just such an affecting show!!

Overall fantastic. Some episodes might seem to drag on, but for me it was worth it. Great show.

I still remember exactly what I was supposed to be doing when I watched the first episode! I was pregnant and there were some files and boxes in our bedroom that had been there forever and I just wanted to get them cleaned up and put away. I'd already exhausted my Netflix favorites and felt like there was nothing to watch. I turned on Breaking Bad "in the background" - and proceeded to get NOTHING else done other than starting myself on a serious Breaking Bad addiction.

Better than the sopranos.

The wire is a differnt kind of show. Hard to compare.
