What really caused IB parents to take notice of Dr. Kim's reforms at Deal was when Marion Barry joined a protest against her. Parents figured that if Kim had angered Barry, she must be doing something right Pride should have enlisted Barry to lead a similar protest against her changes at Hardy, but it's too late for that now. Perhaps she can get Marion Chris Barry (now that he's managed to avoid time in the slammer for knocking over that bank branch) but it won't have the same impact as if the Mayor for Life were still, well, mayor for life.

IB Parent of a 5th grader heading to Hardy next year (thanks to the trust T. Pride has gained in the community).

That was an expression. But any student who assaults or robs another in school deserves to be learning in a prison library, not at Wilson. Cahall covered up criminality at school rather than dealing with it publicly and expelling the perps from the Wilson community.

Hope it's the first one. Though I think that HS requires skills which are different from MS and ES for Principals (I think ES and MS are "inter-exchangeable". HSs are different beasts).
